With the language we speak, no wonder ppl don’t want to move in, or want but fail to adapt.
Polish is kinda like a recrutation system at a university: Only the strongest and most stubborn will win
(please note this comment is supposed to be humorous)
yet the far right would make you believe Poland is about to fall like the rotten west! /s
For refugees it is much better to live in a country with better (western) standards. Higher social funding, healthcare, cost of living etc. Poland is last because it is a poor country with eastern pensions and western prices. It is that simple.
I want to know where this data is from, because it’s definitely not accurate if you look at Warsaw.
Maybe worth noting the tiny text in the bottom that Ukrainian refugees are not a part of the statistics for Poland. The light blue part of our graph would otherwise be much bigger.
(And for clarity, I’m not opposed to Ukrainian refugees. I think Poland and the EU as a whole need to support Ukraine more. I just think that detail was worth noting as it is a quite incorrect graph for Poland)
Poland is my most travelled to destination because of my wife. Our children are dual UK/PL nationals in which I’m incredibly proud of….I’m mixed heritage of English/Caribbean myself and always feel welcomed by everyone. I absolutely adore the country, the culture, language, food, beer, disco polo….
However I have no desire to move there much to the frustration of my partner.
Let’s be real the majority of third world immigration which is the majority in the west claim benefits and Polands aren’t high enough (yet) for them to leach off. Attracting good, hard working and assimilated immigrants is the desire for sure. It can work if done well and not to the absolutely and utter destruction of your nation like Sweden, UK, France, Germany etc. They can never, ever go back now and it’s heartbreaking to watch after the thousands of years of being nations.
i mean not really surprising since poland is one of the poorest eu members
But right wing morons will tell everyone that there is a wave of immigrants in Poland and our culture is in danger 🤦♂️
Finnaly we are not blaming because we care about our safety
Still too much from outside EU in Poland :/
Sigh. Monolith cultures aren’t evolving, they just rehash traditions, missing out on any significant progress.
Why would they come to Poland and earn peanuts if they can’t go somewhere more rich?
Ironically the countries with the most are also the most successful countries in Europe and the ones with the least are low income.. figures right.
This chart is an attack on Poland. They didn’t even include Russia or Ukraine and they are big parts of Europe as well.
The problems with such charts is that it doesn’t count people of mixed origin.
Liechtenstein so high because it’s basically a province of Switzerland.
Slovakia is much more successful than Poland.
A lot of those BORN in EU, go to west…to escape Ruzzia influence in EAST and the corruption that was and will always be.
Polska Gurom!
Hell yeah 👍
Congratulations Poland from Slovenia. We should work like you! But instead of this we have more immigrants because of those far-left clowns…
Based 💪🏼💪🏼
Immigrants from Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania or Estonia – sure. Immigrants from outside of Europe – no, they don’t have the same values (in fact they will try to force their own), they’re not interested in honest work and no one is properly vetting them to check their criminal background.
Keep it that way
Curious on how much % of Poles are immigrants in other countries in Europe.
These data look absurd or at least very incomplete. Do they even include temporary workers?
Where I live (and I don’t even live in a big city), at least 1/3 of people I see everyday in the streets are not Polish: they either speak a foreign languages while walking in groups or have darker skin shades than a typical Pole (I mean mostly Georgians, Indians / Bengalis / Nepalis, South-Eastern Asians, South Americans and an increasing number of Africans).
I’ve never seen statistical data being so far from everyday experience.
Sukces kurwi dołka który sami Polacy nie chcą żyć wow
Poland doesn’t count refugees, nor do they count temporary immigrants (which are the bulk of immigrants in Poland) in their population statistics. If they did, the actual foreigner population of Poland would be north of 2.5 million, which would thus be 6.5-7.5% of the population
Yeah, we are those immigrants in the EU x)
For anyone wondering, immigrants born outside of the EU also includes people from other European countries ( which are not members of the EU yet).
As I know also lots of people from Balkans are moving to Poland. What do you think btw? Serbian language for example seems kinda somewhat familiar to polish, at the same time they are not in EU
