Hi everyone,

Today was my first time doing HU/AU in Germany, and technician found 2 things that would need fixing.

  1. Something about wheels which I think I have solved by downloading information from this website: i-Portal | Ronal

  2. He mentioned something that my exhaust software is not up to date and need to be fixed. I tried googling but there is no information on exhaust software updates…

Did anyone had something similar and know how much this could cost to repair?

  2. 1. your wheels don’t have the required documents to be allowed to be used here. you need to get these informations from the manufacturer

    2. VW was scamming everybody with their Diesel cars and manipulated the values. you still have a software version that manipulates the outcome and need to get that updated. you should have gotten a letter years ago to visit the next VW service center to get that fixed for free but apparently you still have such an old version. get it updated by the mechanic of your choice

  3. Oh boy, isn’t that the lovely EA189 engine? No TÜV without the update. You know, THAT update that’s supposed to fix VW’s scam that went on for years.

    Speak to a VW dealer for details.
