How are you celebrating Prime Day? And by “celebrating” I mean “boycotting” 😏

1. I boycot amazon every day. Fuck those genocide supporting union busters

2. Haven’t used Amazon in years. Terrible customer service! Not even accounting for all the other evil big business activities….

3. I canceled my prime years ago and do not shop on amazon. sometimes i get stuff from ebay in amazon packaging so you can’t avoid them 100% though, plus the web services are everywhere…

4. Anything essential isn’t on sale.

   I want a name-brand SSD for the computer, not impressed with prices.

   Newegg and BestBuy are same smoke and mirrors

5. I’m not celebrating or boycotting. I don’t give Amazon enough thought for either of those. I average 3 purchases per year.

   Amazon is a major contributor to my city economy though with two warehouses, hundreds of local employees, and a fleet of vehicles with tens of thousands of dollars in fuel purchases from local gas stations – although I guess the newly deployed fleet of Rivian vans will cut down on that.
