Portugal scraps EU’s strict Brexit rules and rolls out red immigration carpet for Brits with Spain and Italy likely to follow soon

    It’s hilarious to call this “red immigration carpet”. It’s literally just an efficiency mechanism at airports. No change whatsoever to real immigration rules, i.e. for residency, tax purposes, businesses, naturalisation rules etc.

    Guess we need something to make us feel better about Brexit

  2. We just got back a few weeks ago from France on the Ferry. The French were quite slow but no slower than the UK.

    When we de boarded at Portsmouth every car was searched for immigrants

  3. It’s no shock that the countries where British people spend money on tourism like them and try to make things easier for them. But Brexit caused many much bigger problems, whether to the UK economy or to Brits actually wanting to work or study with ease at some places in the EU.

  4. Imagine the surprise of all the muppets that believe this puff piece when they realize that their British passports still need to be manually stamped after they go past said gates…
