  1. Great. If it keeps the factories running. If it keeps the weapons getting to the front lines, and 1000km behind them, then great!

  2. Took them 3.5 years. Previously, all sales were blocked because they “did not correspond to state interests”, which caused weapon manufacturers to relocate abroad. If the government couldn’t make contracts with every manufacturer, what was the point of holding them hostage?

Better late than never, I guess.

  3. Does this mean they are making the wrong weapons? The weapons they make should be used against Russia now.

  4. This could be excellent in all sorts of ways. NATO countries obtain mass produced battle tested weapons and gain from an element of technology* transfer, it boosts the Ukrainian economy, increases taxes paid to the Ukrainian government and might finance development/production for Ukraine’s use.

*NATO countries have more advanced technologies but they could learn from Ukraine in the area of mass production of cheap but good enough drone/missile technology.

  5. I love it. Let’s invest $billions in Ukrainian arms production – everyone in the rules based society will benefit. When Secretary-General of NATO Valerii Zaluzhnyi takes his place it will have been earned.
