Minsk, Belarus – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik left the Republic of Belarus on Tuesday following a two-day state visit.
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko led the farewell party for His Majesty the Sultan at Minsk International Airport.
His Majesty the Sultan was also seen off by Viktor Karankevich, Deputy Prime Minister, Maxim Ryzhenkov, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and other senior Belarusian officials.
Upon his departure, His Majesty the Sultan sent a cable of thanks to President Lukashenko expressing his sincere appreciation for the warm welcome and hospitality.

His Majesty lauded the outcomes of his meeting with the Belarusian President, as it was an opportunity to enhance areas of cooperation, promote the advanced relations and open new vistas for partnership and investment in a manner that serves joint interests.
His Majesty the Sultan wished President Lukashenko success in achieving further aspirations of progress and prosperity for the Belarusian people.
His Majesty the Sultan was accompanied during the visit by a high-ranking official delegation that comprised H H Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidi, Minister of Diwan of Royal Court; Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Nu’amani, Minister of Royal Office; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr Hamad bin Said al Aufi, Head of Private Office; Abdussalam bin Mohammed al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority; Qais bin Mohammed al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; and Hamoud bin Salim al Tuwaih, Ambassador of Oman to Russia and Non-resident Ambassador to Belarus.
