Trump Rages at Fox Over Mark Kelly

The heart of the disagreement seems to be that Republicans do not think that illegal immigrants should have access to taxpayer funded health insurance and they don’t. So the Democratic position, your official position here is that illegal immigrants should not have any access to taxpayer funded health insurance. Is does that include federal and state? Well, the federal law is uh that undocumented individuals do not have access to Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, even the Affordable Care Act. That’s the law. So, this is a red herring from my Republican colleagues. They they don’t want to, you know, help folks out because they needed that money. And this is should be pretty simple for people to understand. When they gave that extension of the 2017 tax cuts, which helped out the richest Americans, it was partially paid for by taking away Medicaid and taking away these ACA tax credits for people who just can’t afford healthare. What cards do the Democrats have right now? Well, I I don’t want to, you know, equate this to like a game. This is not a game. This is very serious. We’ve got folks that aren’t able to go to work right now, but on November 1st, individuals are going to get these letters if they haven’t received them already. Some have. There are folks in Alaska who have received letters that their premiums are going to go up from $600 a month to $4,000 a month. That’s unaffordable. And in my state in Arizona, 109,000 people are likely to lose their health care, meaning that they are one accident or one illness away from bankruptcy.

  4. I hate republicans. They go on about your right to own a weapon of mass destruction, guns – an invention solely meant to inflict lethal harm. But we've always been denied, because of republicans, the right to universal Healthcare, the right to heal and be healthy.

  5. This is the problem Americans have with Republicans in Congress bc since you don’t want one group of people to have a small piece of something they’re will to take it from everyone and then pick who should get healthcare from the government…they are evil and that’s just who they are

  6. Ronald Reagan signed into law that hospital emergency rooms cannot refuse treatment to anyone. This includes illegal immigrants. When someone cannot pay for an emergency room visit, tax dollars reimburse the hospital. That is what Republicans are referring to when they say that Democrats want to give illegal aliens free health care. Nothing in their bill actually changes that law, all it does is kick a bunch of people off of their insurance and raise premiums.

  8. From Alaska and I can confirm what Kelly is saying, infact I am currently having dental issues that I cannot resolve because this government shutdown.
    I have a issue with my teeth that is actually also due to the government wrongfully taking my healthcare and not allowing me to finish my dental work, currently I am unable to do anything about it and am forced to suffer.
    Republicans are choosing to do this to me and many others.
    My parents are on social security and got their letters, their premiums are going to become unaffordable.

  21. Americans are about to become indentured servants to the super rich by being in generational debt to pay for healthcare. If you want an idea of what is to come, look at the work conditions of 18th century lead miners in the UK.
    And then make it intergenerational. Your grandchildren will be born into a debt that can never be repaid.

    OK, well CONGRESS PASSED THAT LAW (to get all of the campaign contributions from the wealthy people).
