2. People make a lot of jokes about New Jersey, but almost every one of these maps makes me feel like, “huh. Maybe that’s the direction to go.”

3. This is the same as the obesity map and education maps. More fast food, poor health care, lack of education on health in general. More die

4. These pictures need to be banned. At least bring in some other variable, *anything*, whether it’s income, race, or beaver population.

   Like, thank you, I know black people and natives have low life expectancies, but this map causes people to just assume it’s political affiliation.

6. I’m guessing Utah is partially due to Mormons abstaining from alcohol, so you’d see less chronic illness from that and fewer automotive fatalities.

7. Australia 2021-23: 81.1. All six states over 80 but Northern Territory 76.4.

   In a normal year the US will have higher numbers but Covid hit them hard in 20-21.

9. I wonder how Florida would fair if they only did native Floridians and excluded anyone who moved there when they were already old, which may skew the average life expectancy upwards.

20. How much of New Mexico’s low number is due to the Navajo population? Its a beautiful part of the country, but driving through some areas the poverty is very evident and I would be curious if that on its own pulls the statistic down for the rest of the state.

23. The most interesting thing I’ve gleaned from all these charts posted by one person is that Michigan is Texas. The amount of commonality they have across all these statistics is bordering on strange.
