Wimbledon announce anti-vax world No 1 Novak Djokovic WILL be allowed to defend his title this summer, with no requirement for stars to be vaccinated against Covid – unlike in Australia

  1. Not surprising really, we don’t have any requirement for vaccinations to enter the country now, so it would be odd if we had them for sports tournaments. Djokovic’s issues with Australia weren’t specifically related to the Australian Open, but with getting into the country in the first place.

  2. Hardly a surprise given that England never really adopted any mandatory vaccination policy (even retracted the proposed one for the NHS)

  3. Maybe he should be restricted from entering the UK for being proven to knowingly lie on Visa applications.

  4. Good. The hysteria surrounding covid needs to come to an ends, it’s being extended by hypocondriachs and the eternally anxious. If he isn’t vaccinated then that puts him at risk, noone else. Let him play.
