Toddler, 2, has tiny quadbike ‘which goes at walking pace’ seized by police

  1. I love the fact that the only people who could side with the police on the story obviously didn’t have all the facts that it appears to be a small electric ride on car in the shape of a quad bike. They are going on like it’s a off road AWD thing that could actually injure people. The only thing dangerous is if a cyclist tried to keep pace with the thing they would be likely to fall off as they’d be going too slow.

  2. I was about to take the piss out of the police but that looks like a Suzuki 50cc quad, I assumed it would be electric if a 2 year old was riding it. They go around 20+ mph.

  3. Last year, the UK saw a 27% increase in child slavery. It has the third-highest murder rate in Western Europe and the highest burglary rate. The clearance rate for major offenses is at the lowest rate ever recorded.

But, good job cracking down on mean tweets and toddlers!

  4. Good to hear.

Who in their right mind thought it was a good idea to give a toddler a replica quadbike?

  5. Now do electric scooters.

Regularly see children where the handle bars are above their head shooting around on scooters at about 10-22mph.

  6. It doesn’t look tiny to me. I’m guessing it passes some sort of limit to be able to be seized, kids can have little electric cars from toy shops, so would they be seized?

  7. that’s the sort of thing that should be left to adults. the kind of adults who would ride said quadbike while blasting “Running In The 90’s”.

dumb as fuck decision making but hey, let the adults make it. (I mean, with some care, considering Rik Mayall had a really nasty accident while riding an actual quadbike)
