R2P Innovations LLC, a company that makes bulletproof
doors for schools, was named the fastest-growing company in South Carolina at a
luncheon Oct. 7, 2025, in Columbia.
South Carolina’s 50 Fastest Growing Companies competition
is the annual ranking of the Palmetto State’s 50 most dynamic and successful
companies.
The event recognizes an exceptional and diverse assembly
of businesses from across the state among its Top 50 winners.
To be eligible for the SC 50 Fastest Growing Companies
Award, the company must be headquartered in South Carolina and, be in business
for at least three years and show revenues of more than $3 million in the last
fiscal year. The companies are selected using a calculation based on
year-over-year growth of revenue and employee headcount over the last three
years.

Once companies submit their data, they are notified of
whether they placed in the competition, but rankings are not announced until
the recognition luncheon. Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette was the keynote speaker at
Tuesday’s event, which also honored businesswoman and philanthropist Anita
Zucker, presenting her with the C. Dan Adams Lifetime Achievement Award.
Colonial Life, headquartered in Columbia, received the
South Carolina Economic Impact Award, sponsored by BMW Manufacturing.
This award recognizes companies in the Palmetto
State whose activities have produced extraordinary results. This award
honors companies from all regions of the state and across multiple industries
for their outstanding contributions to the South Carolina economy.
Four companies were honored with the South Carolina
Excellence in Business Awards. Hospitality America, which has an average
employee tenure of 21 years, received the Employee Retention Award.
S E J Services received the Growth in Revenues Award. The
Client Retention Award went to Year Round Pool Company, which had an average 23
years’ duration on its top 10 customers.
The Community Impact Award went to TM Floyd, where 100
percent of employees have participated in company philanthropic initiatives
such as American Red Cross, Walk to Defeat ALS, Families Helping Families,
Mugs for Moms, SOS Lowcountry, Walk for Life, The Climb, Junior Achievement,
and Carolina Life.
