My childhood was all about saluting the flag and praising the American way, and this kind of stuff is just over-the-top nuts.   25. Things are dire but Portlanders are handling this right. Dressing up in costumes, dancing. While the right floods the zone with bullshit and mess after mess and lie after lie, we need to flood the zone with videos of dancing frogs casting make believe spells at ICE, Kristi Noem staring down “Antifa” when it’s just one fucking guy in a chicken suit, a group of protesters twerking in inflatable costumes. More costumes, more silliness. ICE pepper sprayed a fucking frog costume because they couldn’t handle being made the butt of a joke. 

    Showing family members videos like this is breaking their Fox brains. Pundits and politicians are telling them that Portland is actively burning to the ground, but showing them videos of how *goofy* the Portland protesters actually are is such a stark contrast to the lies being funnelled to them. That opens up a conversation about how could Portland possibly be burning to the ground when 12,000 people participated in the Portland marathon on Sunday, safely running through the downtown streets and not one of them saw a blue haired trans Antifa immigrant eating a dog. 

    Show the divide. One side is being a sort of nuisance in front of a government building, the other wants people to think the frog guy casting spells at ICE is a transgression worthy of mobilizing the National Guard and dismantling our liberties. 

    If you join a protest, dress up. They want to invite a civil war, turn it into a dance party. 

  26. We need to start wearing Trump masks at a peaceful protest. Fight back peacefully, satirically, by flipping his image on him. He’s the one who wants to call for an insurrection and peacefully protesting is an insurrection to him so why not have ICE fire rubber bullets at his visage? Why not have them tackle him (his image) to the ground? Trump is narcissistic and narcissistic people hate the mirror being turned on them so why not have everyone in solidarity wear his image and beg the bootlickers to fire at them and maim their Dear Leader? If they can wear masks to hide their identity, then we can dare them to sh**t at the one giving them their orders. Imagine that look in the media. It would piss him off if he got asked how he felt about ICE attacking his image by an honest journalist in a press conference.

    Censored because Im apparently promoting violence according to the warning I got from Reddit. Even though I’m clearly saying to flip the script in a peaceful manner. Its like the heroes wearing Stormtrooper armor in Star Wars. If you’re going to protest please consider doing this, and share with others, if we get enough people to join in I really think the images will make more people come to some sense of reality. Its a small act, but potentially large effect on the narrative. Maybe even co opt MAGA attire at peaceful protests as our own. As a shield against them. Would ICE fire at “MAGATS?” “It hurt itself in its confusion.” I’d like to see them spin that on Fox News. Weaken his brand image by having his own forces attack his “own people.” Optics is all that matters to this administration. It may even show the right wing people that he is not on their side either, just his own.
