Country star Zach Bryan calls out ICE raids in new song

Growing anger and distrust that the American people are feeling toward the Trump administration and what they’re seeing on the streets of American cities in the ice raids has become so nearly universally disliked that it has even reached the traditionally conservative world of country music. Grammy award-winning singer songwriter Zack Bryan released a clip of a new song on social media directly calling out the cruelty of mass deportations. Brian, who served in the Navy for eight years, is a country superstar. His music has reached 16.2 billion streams on Spotify. And just last month, he set the record for the largest ticketed concert in US history. Listen to his new song. My friends are all degenerates, but they’re all I got. The generational story of dropping the plot. I heard the cops came. Cocky mother, ain’t they? And eyes is going to come bust down your door. Try to build a house. No bills no more. But I got a telephone. Kids are all scared and all alone. The bar stop bumping the rock. Stop rolling. Fingers rising. Got some bad news. [Music] [Applause] Notable at this moment. Notable.

Country music star Zach Bryan appears to call out the Trump administration’s immigration agenda in a teaser for his new song, “Bad News,” with a reference to ICE. The lyrics are “notable at this moment,” Nicolle Wallace says.

  1. Sounds like something Springsteen might have done back in the day. Over the years, lots of artists have written and sung songs about social injustices, and political issues. Good for him.

  2. Song sucks. It’s corny. He wants that Steve Earle crowd but he’s not on the same plane of existence as Earle. Say what you want about Springsteen but he can write. This Bryan song is junk.

  3. Somebody share this with Bad Bunny! Invite this man on stage for halftime suprise guest appearance. Just a quick 12 bars… please make this a thing!

  4. I sing country and sound southern because im from the south, but I definitely dont lean right. Not all country singing guys are right leaning.

  5. Democrats said in 1950's troops seeking to end Segregation & Jim Crow was horrible. Republican President sending troops to end slavery in 1860's is disliked by Democrats. Democrats seem are always on the wrong side of history…

  6. I love this and hate this for him at the same time… I hope it doesn't change him or his music in the future.. Love You Zach been a fan since your first album!! 💜

  7. The fact that he's destroyed our tourism, and for Americans to travel, shut down the Airports, created hatred, anarchy, promoted discrimination, made a mockery of real Christians, increased the cost of food, gas, cars, homes, allowed it to get sick without vaccines, took away affordable healthcare, and kicked seniors and veterans on the streets and locks everyone up. Because he's an insecure nuthole😮. TRUMP IS a pandemic!!!
