Is there any way to keep track of all the plants that have already been destroyed?
How long before the Russian oil industry is just non functional?
There will be sites in the east that are still perfectly safe, but the number of trucks and other stuff you’d need to continually bring enough west to cover the needs would be completely untenable. And once Ukraine has done that much damage those truck lines would be obvious and sitting ducks.
Ukraine think Russia currently has a 20% fuel shortfall which is massive and would continue growing for some time even if the strikes stopped because of secondary effects and whatever is in the system from destroyed sources running out. And the strikes are in fact growing.
