The moment you do propaganda against a nation whose people you used for your imperilistic wars in your colonies. A people who weren’t united and thus often victims of technically smaller peoples.
When the Germans used their right to self determination they brits called that aggressive and a sign of power hungry Teutonics, ieonic considering the Brtitish empire and what the English did on the British isles. Or when Germany build a navy pretty got crazy, not because Germany was putting peace at danger, but it threatened Britain’s dominant position, you can see how i.portant a bigger navy was for Germanyif you look at its geographic position and how the Brits made Germany have a famine(seems like tradition). The Brits even colonised Helgoland, so you see who was the aggressive one here.
Another thing Britian did and Germany didn’t was putting knventing the Made im Germany label to discreminate German products, luckily the German products were much better, so people bought them.
Oh and the Entente put Europe at danger by making a big and thretening alliance, which was so connected to several crisises that it had to go wrong. The Entent even enceicled Germany and thus put a threat to it and installed fear, especially regarding the elements of pan slavinism.
After the war there was a lot of propagand of Germans being pure eveil and the only reason for war. And being violent and imperialistic people by blood, that’s kinda racist.
But now everything is alright everbody was wrong. It just seems self-righteous and fake.
