Putin: I have no issue with that at all.
Putin: Already on it!
I don’t see the issue
Putin wouldnt care even if 10 millions Russians died
Putin calling for more NK and china soldiers
Putin: the underclass is a resource, better to die taking land in Ukraine than a coup in Moscow
Very good message, but saying to Putin that if he tries he’ll have to bury *his children* would be more effective dealing with a self-serving dictator like him.
Russia has never had any issues with that.
In fact, Putin is probably wondering how Zelensky got hold of his plan.
Putin: it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make.
Don’t threaten Putin with a good time…
Russians still dance happy dances over WW2 when, in their own generals words, they barely won enough land to bury their dead. So neither for Putin nor for regular Russians (minus ones who put their own a** in the game) this isn’t much of an issue.
Putin: okay
Don’t threaten Putin with a good time
The problem is, russians don’t give a flying fuck.
Putin: Challenge accepted!
Putin: Why send a million of my people to die when I’ve done a great job convincing other countries to send their people to die for me?
>if Russian leader Vladimir Putin seeks to capture all of eastern Ukraine
This is perfectly in line with recent messages: [“Russia occupied less than 1% of Ukraine’s territory since November 2022”](https://kyivindependent.com/russia-occupied-less-than-1-of-ukraines-territory-since-november-2022-monitoring-group-says/), “Russia is a advancing too slowly”, “Russia has lost because they can’t take all Ukraine”, “Russia is making minimal gains at tremendous costs”, and so on.
What all these messages gloss over is that taking all of Ukraine, or even making more territorial gains, isn’t the primary Russian objective. **The objective is simply to force Ukraine (and the west) to give up, so that Russia can dictate the terms at the negotiation table.**
Keeping a consistent high pressure at the front line is one of the strategies to achieve that. It’s extremely costly for both sides, but Russia believes that it has the manpower and production capacity advantage to maintain that pressure.
The second fight is that to bring the other side to an economic (and political) collapse. The main strategy here is to destroy things like energy infrastructure that is vital to each sides economy and very costly to rebuild. Again, Russia probably believes that it has the advantage here with their much larger drone and missile assaults on Ukraine compared to Ukraine’s assaults on Russia. **This currently appears to be the most important battle**.
The third fight is that with Europe. The sabotage, the airspace violations, the drone disturbances, the political interference (trying to get the far-right to gain momentum etc). All of these efforts aim to raise the costs for the EU (increased defense spending), shift the funding and defense focus away from Ukraine and into domestic priorities, and to reduce the willingness to support Ukraine.
So in the grand scheme of things, taking more land is not an objective in itself, and it is only of marginal importance when assessing how well or poorly Russia or Ukraine is doing.
Look if it costs me a million men to move my drinks cabinet 6 inches closer to kyiv its worth it

That’s just a million that won’t need food or fuel anymore.
It’s been proven many times that russian leaders don’t value lives of their citizens so i don’t think he will have a problem with that
Yea, that wouldn’t give him a moment’s pause
Life’s mean nothing to him, whole planets he can kill, and he’s happy
Millions of Russian dead are as much of an inconvenience to russians as the first centimeters of snow on the subway tracks in the morning are to westerners
and I don’t think it is going to stop him
Classic russian strategy: send soldiers against the guns till the enemy run out of ammo… And then send more soldiers. They won the WWII that way 🤷
I hope Putin run out of soldiers before Ukraine run out of ammo
Putin: Challenge accepted!
Russia’s military performances have been so abysmal that Putin will have no problem reaching the goal Zelenskyy stated which will be 1 million KIA.
A sunflower planted for each meter gained, it’s a price Putin seems all too eager to pay.
So, never? Russians don’t bury their soldiers.
History sure does repeat itself when no one pays attention..
Putin replies: Ok, deal
Didnt he already bury a milion of his soldiers? :O
Putin: Challenge accepted!
Who runs out of soldiers first, Ukraine or Russia?
Putin: “I’ve already said I’m in, you don’t need to convince me any further”
