WANA (Oct 09) – Three countries have officially submitted bids to host the 2029 Islamic Solidarity Games, according to reports.

 

Iran, Malaysia, and Uzbekistan have each announced their readiness to host the event, which brings together athletes from member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

 

Iran previously hosted the second edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games in 2009, although the competition was ultimately cancelled for various reasons.

 

The sixth edition of the Games is scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 7 to 21, 2025.
