This is pure semantics. Overall 55 million is still spent on being a sanctuary country for refugees and asylum seekers, which I will also add no one in wales voted for.
The majority in wales want it to end and never agreed for it to happen in the first place. The money spent on this should be going to actual welsh people in this country. We have our own problems to deal with before we even think to start housing the rest of the world. Look at the valleys for one, that 55million would go along way in some areas.
This is another reason of many why labour and plaid suck. They’d rather look after others over their own people even so when wales isn’t finically stable to do so or wants to. They also then have the gall to try protect the optics around it when people speak out against it. It’s like they forget they’re elected and mandated to run wales for the welsh not for the rest of the world.
As much as I don’t want to vote reform. ( I want an alternative to wants on offer they all suck – and I want welsh independence so I don’t have to vote for a party that’s all about the union) unfortunately They’re without a doubt the best option we have otherwise we will turn out like England where we have no control on asylum/refugees coming in (under plaid/labour), the country will continue to get flooded with mass migration which will kill wales off faster than the English ever tried to do when we suddenly realise the majority of the population isn’t welsh anymore. So with that say good bye to the welsh language and culture.
I’m from Caerphilly. As far as I’m concerned, people are welcome here if their country is unsafe.
