  1. So Reform wins if elections were held today because Greens are cannibalizing Labour vote so much?

  2. I like him, he seems like the real deal. Might join the Greens.

  3. Flash in the pan. Just shows what a shit job labour is doing.

  4. I like the Greens. Their idea of getting the USA out of NATO is something Americans want, but can’t seem to pull the trigger on due to too many European countries begging for help. Americans would love to see the US leave NATO. No point in sending American soldiers to fight Russians/Allie’s on European soil.

  5. This is what it’s come to, between fascists and ecologists. What a weird timeline.

  6. Greens have historically been quite clueless about foreign policy – any sign of that changing with ZP?

  7. The Greens aren’t really an environmental party, they’re a [fill in the gap] party. That gap is filled by whatever liberal issue is currently trending.

By the time the next election rolls around they’ll have pivoted again at least twice.

  8. Next election is hotting up nicely. Hopefully Corbyn etc will join Greens.

  9. Zack’s politics would see us unilaterally disarm our Nuclear capabilites, out of NATO and with the UK split into pieces.

The Green Party that Zack leads isn’t even a Great Britain-wide organisation, let alone a UK one… and the Welsh element is likely to split off soon as well.

  10. Who are ‘found out now’. First time I’ve heard of them as a polling company.

Will be interesting to see if this is an outlier or a trend.

I suspect they would have a bit of bump just as there is a group of voters on the left who seemed hyped and a lot of press.

Latest YouGov Westminster voting intention (5-6 October 2025)

    Conservatives: 17% (+1)

    Greens: 12% (+1)
    SNP: 4% (+1

  11. cant vote green, they want to give up our nukes lol, dumb party

  12. I’m not sure a mixture of wealthy OAP nimbys and the usual Islamists using the naivety of left wing identity politics to get political office to them pivot to religious conservatism is the answer to the UKs problems really.

Don’t believe me? Look what happens in Hamtramck in Michigan, or closer to home, the mess Corbyns lot is in with regard to LGBT issues.

IMO we need a robustly secular economically left party that doesn’t get it’ys geopolitics from Cbeebies.

  13. All the people crying about ‘if we lose our nukes we’ll be invaded by Russia’ as if Farage isn’t Putin’s lapdog and the other parties aren’t giving our country away/elevating Russians to House of Lords etc.

No political party is perfect, but the Greens fit my wants and desires more than any other party, and that’s why I vote for them. Best of a bad bunch.

(Only nine countries have nukes, (well, probably eleven) so how does Belgium keep safe without them? Our nukes didn’t stop a war with Argentina for example)

  14. Actually covering Greens properly causes Greens to surge in polls, reports media absolutely shocked that it’s biases were effective in controlling the political conversation.
