Where are the climate Republicans? Republicans in Congress have gone from trying to develop conservative solutions to climate change to all but ignoring the issue.

There aren’t any climate Republicans, and there never were. They may have been in favor of clean energy projects because they boosted their local economy, but they were never in favor of the elimination of fossil fuels.
And now? Until they’re willing to stand up against Trump, they’re all MAGA, which means they believe climate change is a hoax, just as Trump does.
Those that offered “solutions” only acted in bad faith.
Because there are no “conservative solutions to climate change”, and there never were.
The only “conservative solution” is just letting climate disaster happen and killing off the poor.
It’s a sad example of how our entire country is now controlled by a minority of people, largely due to our two party system.
The majority of people care about climate change.
But sadly, most seats now are in red areas.
And only the more dedicated people vote in those primaries.
And of those people, the majority of them don’t care about the climate, or actively want to push policies to damage it.
So you get a subset of a subset of a subset of people that pick our representatives, and that subset is anti-climate.
They cannot be pro-life if they don’t acknowledge climate change and assist in mitigating it. They’ve been manipulated and used by all the worst people.
They are cowards who bend the knee and kiss the ring.
Who are you kidding? The only things GOP and MAGA have ever said about climate change are denials, denials, and more denials followed by stark raving mad rage filled fantastical conspiracy theory nonsense.
> all but ignoring the issue.
Blocking development of wind turbine projects that are already in progress, attempting to get NASA to deorbit satellites that are measuring CO2 levels in the atmosphere, gutting the EPA, banning the department of energy from even mentioning climate change.
I wish they were just ignoring the issue.
