Gabriela Purtschert grew up in Ecuador – with Swiss values, Swiss cheese and the dream of one day studying in Switzerland. Now, after 16 years in Switzerland, she is facing deportation. That’s because she lacks something that many of her relatives have: a red passport.

something doesnt add up, why couldnt she get C status after 16 years?
That whole topic is just fucked up:
– The only reason she has no passport, unlike her brothers, is that she’s adopted.
– The notion of keeping a passport of a foreign country over generations “through bloodline” is weird anyway.
– That somebody who spent 16 years in this country, speaks the language and everything, is not a citizen already is mad and shameful.

You would open up to political activists adopting people left and right.
