2. What’s he got left in the cupboard that’s going to get him out of this mess? More rhetoric?

3. War’s changing and things like cheap drones are dominating battle fields. Also, with Russian attitude to their own people, i.e meat grinder tactics. They probably could afford to escalate, for a while.

4. Yes, although this is a scary thought, we have to be prepared.

   Biological warfare, direct attack on nato countries, cutting cables, nukes, waves of drones, attacks from the water / sea from submarines or tankers. Nothing is too crazy for a psychopathic narcissist in power.

   If he loses, he will probably want to take the world with him. For him, it’s all about him.

5. I mean in a way this has always been expected. If the war goes badly for Putin, what would he do? Admitting defeat is just not possible for him. Escalation is all there’s left I my mind. And escalate towards whom? Ukraine? There’s nothing left to escalate, he’s already attack all out on energi infrastructure etc. Only trying to scare Ukraine’s western partners is what’s left. Hopefully we are prepared for it by now.

6. So. What is the ethically responsible opposing government to do? Capture Russian soldiers and offer them food and shelter? Honest question. It seems — perhaps, I am naive — that Europe and the US are preparing for Russia’s loss. I’m curious. How exactly are they preparing?

7. How can you be losing a war when you can escalate the war?
