In a deeply emotional moment marking World Mental Health Day, Prince William was visibly moved during a heartfelt conversation with a bereaved mother, Rhian Mannings, who lost both her baby and husband within the span of just five days. The Prince of Wales, known for his mental health advocacy, appeared to fight back tears as the discussion turned to themes of grief, suicide, and the power of open dialogue.

On world Mental Health Day , The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales launched the National Suicide Prevention Network, spanning all four home nations and aiming to transform suicide prevention in the UK

Backed by over £1 million in funding from The Royal Foundation, over an initial three-year period, the National Suicide Prevention Network aims to deliver lasting change in how suicide is understood and prevented across the four nations. It will improve universal pathways for suicide prevention to ensure that they are evidence-based, effective and accessible to all.

  1. I’m feeling a bit psychic right now, because I posted their previous conversation a couple days ago😂

She’s an admirable person, I don’t imagine it’s easy to overcome what she’s been through.

  2. Given the death of Gabriella’s husband, I suspect that losing someone to suicide hits closer to home for William than it used to.

  3. This entire interview was so moving. Highly recommend watching.

  4. I thought The Firm had no space tor mental illness. Or is only William allowed?

  5. Yet his sister in law was suicidal and she was thrown under the bus by “The Firm”. I’m sorry I find this hard to believe
