The kids Wooden Toy event from Aldi UK & Ireland pops up on my TikTok lately and I’m thankful it’s not here in Lux 😂 but I do wonder if the locals here would queue for hours outside Aldi and fight in store for wooden toys. I can’t imagine it’s the culture here 🙂

  1. Hasn’t it been like that for 40 years? In Germany, Aldi is also sold out by 8:01 on days like this.

  2. I am not aware of any recent cases but I can remember in the late 90s – early 2000s quite a fight and huge line for Aldi Medion computers.

  5. There was something in Belgium, where an artist did a one off special print for charity, that sold out in a matter of hours. Not sure whether Aldi or Lidl.
