Was out walking the dog earlier and she alerted me to something and ran over to it. When I got there I found this little guy, just sitting there without a worry in the world. It looks quite young though and I'm wondering if you're meant to do anything. I know that they're nocturnal and seeing one during the day means that something is wrong. But are the young ones ok to leave alone? It didn't look injured or anything

  1. i’d be leaving it alone – looks fine. maybe the shite weather with the storm has got it thinking about hibernating so its out fattening up

  2. Wee hedgehogs are endangered now. Something like 95% decline in the last 25 years.
