  1. On the one hand, 1500 jobs, and a fair amount of investment.

On the other hand, what _kind_ of jobs would this be creating ? And what would the supply chain be like ? Assembly plants assembling turbines from parts shipped in from China, is quite a different proposition from using Scottish-based manufacturers to supply the parts. It’s not unknown to use such local assembly plants to undercut and undermine any competitors, to drive them out of business and establish an effective monopoly.

  2. Great, more power that Westminster will sell off and we won’t get to use or reap the cost reduction from. Keep using Scottish land and ocean space as your money printing machine as you sell off more and more of our country to the highest bidder.

    Love it.

Why not use China, they’re only doing organ harvesting and making human birthing bots, I wonder how these two things will be used in conjunction? Then there’s their own ethnic cleansing that was spectacularly brushed under the rug. Who cares about morality when theres profit to be made right?

Maybe they’ll share the secrets with you oligarchs and politicians and it’ll be worth selling your country out for eh? An extra 20 years to shove golden enemas up your arses you fucking wealth hording power hungry immoral cunts.

  3. Why isn’t the UK government planning a turbine plant in the UK for the UK?

I mean for fuck sake, as shite a business as BiFab was, it had immaculate positioning in Scotland for access to the Eastern North Sea from Burntisland and Methil, and to the west from Lewis. This should’ve been leveraged, there used to be turbine jackets and bases shipped out of Methil. There is absolutely no doubt we should be taking advantage of our own resources in this country instead of letting a foreign power come in and ream us for all we’re worth as usual.
