Bonus question: What would you recommend I make for a nice, comforting autumn dessert (or "afters" as it's known in my house)? Pies and crumbles are good, but what's your favourite sweet dish?

  1. I’m going to do absolutely fuck all other than exercise this weekend.
    I’m going to have a bit of time on the computer, build some Lego and generally just do little.
    Might watch a few Halloween films as well

  2. MASSIVE coffee made, cinema in a little bit with son followed by weekly shop next door at Tesco. All very pedestrian today, though I saw Tron last night and really enjoyed it tbh! Brings me upto 70 cinema trips in 2025. Favourite sweet dish I recently found myself wanting is semolina

    Then I think I’m being dragged to an outlet shopping centre as the small humans have some money that’s burning a hole in their pockets.

  4. Going out with my mum then meeting up with husband later. Alcohol and kebabs.

  5. Surgery on my thumb this morning – dreading the next 12 weeks particularly as I’m left-handed

  6. Shopping this morning for bits and pieces. Not sure about the rest of the day yet. Probably not much, as it’s been a busy week and I need a rest.

  7. No idea just yet! Bit of gaming with friends and prep for an interview, might try and go out somewhere tomorrow as well

  8. Oldest to theatre school. Youngest to football, a good scrub in the bath then a birthday party. Need to plan dinner (boredom). Catch up on Celebrity Traitors after dinner.

  9. I plan on sleeping as I was in crippling pain from 9pm to 3am this morning.

    (Fuck endo. Fuck menopause. Fuck the medical industry that makes women prove their pain for endless months to get any help.)

    Other than that I’ll be playing WoW and eating crisps and dip and doing some washing.

  10. Spent a chunk of money on getting some electrics sorted and an electric oven…informed this morning that whilst doing the work a rat got into our outhouse/shed

    So now got to deal with that

  11. No more sales calls to make as I’ve found someone local for the roof.

    The one that arrived yesterday could give a 4k discount, but only if I signed up right then

  12. My therapist changed my session from today to tomorrow. But I might still venture out to talk to the bank about a business account because I think I need to get a side hustle and I have some homemade crafting that I’m thinking of selling

  13. Going back to Parkrun for the first time in about three years. Doing two minutes running, one minute walking and feeling apprehensive!
