Meanwhile the EU still buys Russian gas and oil to fund their war effort against Ukraine.
Should have done so when the war began.
Still don’t know what the ever loving feck it has to do with us. English Tax payers paying for something in a far off land. To what advantage? It’s obviously money related but they’re pissing off a mahoosive export market.
About to see quite a few other countries pull assets from the UK.
Part of uk usp was that assets were safe if purchased legally. That protection goes, the money also goes.
Stop talking about it and stalling and get it done.
The announcement comes after European leaders met in Copenhagen last week to discuss using frozen Russian assets for a €140bn ($162bn; £121bn) loan to Ukraine.
Out of curiosity, who is the loan from? As in who would Ukraine owe money to in this instance.
