  1. In an interesting moment, shedding insight into surviving Hamas leaders justifications for the war they brought on Gaza, senior Hamas official Mousa Abu Marzouk stormed out of a live interview on the Emirati-funded Al Ghad TV after being pressed about whether the October 7 attacks advanced Palestinian goals.

The exchange turned heated when he lashed out at the host, accusing him of disrespect, before abruptly ending the broadcast.

The interviewer replied that Abu Marzouk’s outburst revealed Hamas’s inability to face hard questions amid Gaza’s devastation.

The viral incident could be interpreted as reflecting the growing Arab frustration with Hamas, and internal strains within its leadership.

  2. The Hamas official replies “No sane person would claim that on October 7, with just a thousand or so fighters (wrong, it was much much more), it was possible to liberate Palestine.”

So why execute October 7 then?

  3. This is the same guy that said that the tunnels are built to protect Hamas fighters, while it is the responsibility of UN to protect the civilians. Real class act.

  4. Thanks for sharing. Glad to see Arab countries taking on these sorts of hardball interviews & publicly vocalizing frustrations with Hamas across the wider Arab audiences.

Every time Hamas leadership do an interview I’m equal parts relieved to know people get to hear Hamas leadership in their own inhumane words, and I simultaneously want to throw my screen through a window.
