Gaza updates live: Israel moves Palestinian prisoners as it prepares for exchange with Hamas

Hello and welcome to those of you joining us nice and early this Sunday morning.

It’s shaping up to be a busy day out of the Middle East as Israel and Hamas make preparations for the hostage-prisoner exchange slated to take place tomorrow.

A US-led ceasefire has continued to hold in Gaza in its second day, with tens of thousands of Palestinians returning home to the now largely demolished enclave.

Washington has also sent 200 US troops to Israel to monitor the ceasefire.
