Hello, I picked these letters up 20+/- years ago in Montana , USA. I was hoping someone here might be able to help me decifer them or point me in the right direction. I was told that the first 2 were correspondence between two lords about the war ravaging the land at the time. The larger letter I'm not sure about. Thanks for any help!

In case you don’t get help here. I think your chances of getting a response will be higher if you post during the local afternoon hours instead of midnight.

  2. *Gottfried Huyn, Lord of Geleen, Baron von Wachtendonk, Knight of the Teutonic Order, Imperial Field Marshal of His Roman Majesty, commanded in Bavaria, as well as Sergeant General of the Honorable Catholic League and Colonel of a regiment in Hall, Lammers and Company in Dremingen.*

*We hereby inform everyone that – in view of the ongoing chaos of war – for special reasons we have placed certain people/places under the protection and umbrella of Her Imperial Majesty and the Catholic Federation.*

*If they show this letter of protection, they should be allowed to pass through unhindered by all troops of the imperial and Catholic armies and enjoy full protection.*
