The acoustics of that place are wild
I have watched a nighttime spectacle of Antigone there. Seeing it there under a starry sky on hot summer night was a truly magical experience.
It is quite larger than you d think
This is the Europe that I love and will always love.
Been there many times. That place is awesome
It’s truly an experience
Fun fact: There’s a family of foxes that lives in a hole in the marble seats in the middle section like halfway up, I’m pretty sure the folks who work at the museum give them food along with the dogs that sit at the marble pillars you walk by to get in the theater because the little babies weren’t at all scared of the people walking up the stairs or sitting pretty close to their den!
Been there, it is wild!
This is on my list of places to visit and see a performance for my upcoming 3rd Europe trip in 2027.
Until then, I continue to live as frugal as possible, saving my pennies lol.
