Home buyers are more interested in photovoltaics, renewable energies and environmental topics, said exhibitors at the annual Home Expo this week.
The Home Expo brings together developers, construction companies and other businesses in the housing sector, such as plumbers or carpenters. The annual fair took place from 9 to 12 October this year.
“There’s a trend to renovate older buildings,” said one of the exhibitors, working for a carpentry business.
Other topics that customers enquired about were photovoltaic systems, including batteries for energy storage. Overall, there seemed to be a trend towards sustainability, with exhibitors saying people showed more concern for pollutants and environmentally friendly materials.
