Toronto police are searching for a man who they say is wanted in connection with a break-and-enter investigation in the city’s east end.

In a news release issued Sunday, official say officers responded to a call shortly before 11 p.m. on Sept. 15 in the area of Dundas Street East and Pape Avenue.

Police say a man entered a residence while the occupants were home, stole property, and fled on foot before officers arrived.

The suspect who police described as a man in his early 20s with a dark complexion and thin build was last seen wearing a light-coloured top, dark pants, and a face covering.

Investigators have released images and are asking anyone with information to come forward and contact police immediately at 416-808-5500.
