  1. Lmao, tbh Iceland peeps backin Euro membership ain’t that cray.

  2. The non-Euro EU and EEA members have been cosplaying as wannabe revolutionaries ever since SEPA was introduced to be brutally honest. SEPA bank transfers are Euro exclusive and the de facto European standard.

Even more so those that have actually pegged their currency to the Euro exchange rate, even sillier posturing in that case.

But the illusion of “independence” seems to be worth it, even in these difficult times that make it perfectly clear to Europeans how insignificant they are on the world stage as individual countries, how important it is for Europe to further integrate and speak with one powerful voice.

  3. That’s a significant change — looks like attitudes toward the EU are evolving

  4. Is that inner rainbow supposed to be 2012? It’s not explained anywhere.

  5. They should start applying asap, we’d be all happy to have them in.

  6. Seeing how heavy Iceland is on tourism, it would make sense to them.

  7. This is one of the worst data visualizations I’ve ever seen.
