Authorities on Sunday located 24 migrants in the Asprochorti area of Samos, prompting a search operation for a missing foreign national in the sea area northeast of the island.
The operation involves a coast guard rescue vessel, an air force helicopter and coast guard personnel on land, who are combing both coastal and maritime zones.
Efforts are being hindered by strong winds currently sweeping the area.
