2. I lived in Portsmouth, VA for four years when I was in the Navy. I lived in Sterling Point which was a great neighborhood. But the bad parts were terrible. I gave a black dude a ride who was hitchhiking. After the ride was finished, he tried to rob me telling me, "I'm going to need some money."
   I pulled my carry out. Stopped helping people in that town that day.
