I can take you to factories [in China] now, where you’ll basically be alongside a big conveyor and the machines come out of the floor and begin to assemble parts,” he says.
“And you’re walking alongside this conveyor, and after about 800, 900 metres, a truck drives out. There are no people – everything is robotic.”

  2. “there are no people”. No people visible. While Chinese robotics is really good, it still needs a lot of tricks to look good on presentations like this one.

  6. From what I’ve heard, Chinas economy is actually pretty brutal right now. Current factory workers all over China are not being paid for months, if at all, causing weekly factories to be burned to the ground. It’s literally happening all over all the time.

    These robots might be a thing but Chinas media are so untrustworthy it’s hard to believe. Robots I’ve seen that work well still have wheels.

  7. China may be ahead in factory automation, but I doubt it’s the only country at this stage of automation. Yet, there’s not a story about it every time. It sounds a lot like propaganda to make people think China is superior.
