Infrastructure company GRK Infra has concluded negotiations regarding the restructuring of its railway operations in Finland. As a result, the company will lay off 32 employees, while four others will see changes to their working conditions, according to a press release.
The move stems from an efficiency program introduced in September, when the company indicated that between 20 and 40 employees were expected to be affected by layoffs.
The group currently employs approximately 1,200 people. The measures are expected to generate annual cost savings of 3 million euros. These savings are anticipated to take effect gradually, starting in the fourth quarter of 2025.
