Planning to drive though black forest via B500 on this Friday, however, just checked through Google map and realised there is a road closure which wasn't there on yesterday. Can anyone confirm if this section of B500 is closed and for how long?

More or less a local here – use the 462. No closure there and you could make a quick visit to Freudenstadt, which is rather pretty.
There will be a detour displayed on signs
Is it even possible to ride over whole B500 without all this “Baustelle” and “Sperrungen”. Last year made a small trip through Schwarzwald and there were one segment on B500. However I was lucky to make this on Thursday when there is not too much traffic.

This is pretty mich the beginning/end of the Schwarzwaldhochstraße. Just take the detour via Neuweier.
