1. Putin is losing, the battlefield is at a stand still, Russia spend far more than ukraine does on this was every month, only half of the refineries in Russia is operational and large parts of Russia struggle with gas at the pumps. Oil export don’t bring the same income, due to refineries and lowering interest rates now to fund the war is risky since the Russian population is now feeling the war more than ever.

   Putin desperately need a response from NATO he can frame aggressively to rally the Russian people and distract from the failure of his war campaign and so he have something to blame for the russian economy going down hill.

   Best thing the west can to is to not respond and let ukrain have what it need to keep going.

2. Is incredible the mental gymnastic you have to do with all of this propaganda. On one hand Russia is utterly being defeated by Ukraine because they are corrupt and incompetent, dying by the millions and about to collapse from the inside, while at the same time they are ready to invade all the european territory and defy all of NATO.

3. Ready to do what? Surrender? They can’t even take out the third rate military of Ukraine right next to their nation. I can’t imagine their supply lines lasting until Berlin even if their troops were capable of winning the battles to get there.

4. No they’re not. “Ready” doesn’t actually mean anything. When was the last time an authoritariuan society said, “world, we are not ready for armed conflict, give us a few years please.” Never.

   There’s only ready and unready so what would constitute unready? No fighter jets left in their air force or tanks in their army? This will never happen, so by this definition, Russia will always be “ready”.

   People really need to ask themselves how long they think Russian fighter jets, tanks, APCs and helicopters would last against just Poland, Germany and France, never mind the rest of NATO. Once these are gone, there is no way for Russia to mount any kind of meaningful invasion and take land. Not to mention what strikes by NATO aircraft can have inside Russia. Russia’s energy sector would be gone within a few weeks. Try living through a Russian winter when 85% of your population have no heat.

   Therefore, the next question you have to ask yourself is, what does an eastern Europe look like under constant threat of Russian drones but 0% chance of Russia actually taking any land?

   Theyre barely winning in Ukraine, with their victories measured in meters. They can’t do shit against Europe

6. nato can level russia infrastructure with air power alone, this will never happen.
