  1. It’s good Ukraine is being relentless to destroy what’s left of the Russian oil infrastructure.

  2. That’s crazy.  Pretty soon Russia will have to sell all of its gold reserves.  They should be swapping gold for heating now.  Soon for food…  it’s going to get ugly folks.  For everyone.

    AI Overview
    +12
If Russia sold all its gold reserves, it would likely cause a significant short-term drop in the global price of gold due to a sudden increase in supply, followed by a gradual recovery. This would be a major market event, as Russia has been a large holder of gold, and its sales would add a substantial amount to the global market. The extent of the price drop would depend on factors like the speed of sales and how the market absorbs the new supply.
    Short-term impact
Price drop: A large quantity of gold hitting the market would increase the global supply, leading to a significant but likely short-term drop in the price of gold.
Market shock: The market would be shocked by such a large and sudden influx of gold. It would take time for buyers to absorb the new supply, creating downward pressure on prices.
    Long-term impact
Gradual recovery: After the initial shock, the price of gold would likely recover as the market adjusts to the new supply-demand balance.
Reduced market stability: Russia’s role as a central bank reserve holder would be eliminated, which could reduce the overall stability of the global gold market, though this is a long-term concern.
    Other considerations
Sanctions impact: Russia’s ability to sell its gold reserves could be limited by international sanctions, as some countries and financial institutions have restricted their purchases of Russian gold.
Market absorption: The market’s ability to absorb such a large amount of gold would depend on factors like global demand, investor sentiment, and the economic conditions at the time.
Other factors: The price of gold is influenced by many factors, including inflation, interest rates, and geopolitical events, so the impact of Russia’s sales would need to be considered alongside these other factors.

  3. I’d love to see Ukraine pull off some sort of thermite drone swarm attack on nuclear subs based in Vladivostok deployed out of cargo ships — just to force Russia to feel paranoid _everywhere_

  4. I love how we are getting excited for the new yellow arrows. I love how these are getting posted more and more frequently <3

  5. I look at these maps often, never seen a yellow, blue yes(jet engine) but never a yellow

  7. Fingers crossed for some good refinery footage coming later

  8. I wonder what this year’s winter will be like for the Russians in Ukraine. Also for Russian citizens, they already had lines of a hundred cars for refueling.

  9. Hope they got gas earlier…. oh wait, there is no gas
