A lovely donkey sanctuary in Lincolnshire, I asked him to smile for the camera and I think I see a genuine smile! 😂

  2. I think I have figured out also that my dog can smile. When she’s very pleased about something she puts her mouth half open and sticks her tongue out a bit and has sparkles in her eyes. I am 95% sure that’s her way of smiling.

    That being said. I had a fight with a lama once in a zoo. I told the lama ‘You’re a bit ugly, aren’t you?’ and each time I would pass the lama enclosure it would stalk me in a threatening posture.

  10. I would be concerned that the smile is wind brewing! Donkey farts can’t be good.

    I know donkey sanctuaries exist but I’ve never considered going to one, do they do donkey walks like the popular alpaca walking? Oasis camel park in Suffolk is another place I’ve seen but never actually thought of going to.
