King Charles III’s bond with Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie has been revealed in the wake of his decision to bar Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson from participating in royal affairs over their past ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

Former butler to King Charles III, Grant Harrold, dished on His Majesty’s close relationship with Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. “The king is very fond of his nieces and gets on with both of them really well. He will encourage them to come to family events, he will want them to be included in those private family celebrations,” he said.

Grant Harrold praised Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie’s politeness and humility. “Princess Eugenie and her sister Beatrice were always really nice. Whenever I dealt with them, they were very sweet and gentle. Always said their ‘please and thank yous’ and were very polite,” he said. “They were extremely lovely young women and were much-loved members of the royal family.”

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie’s parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, have been dismissed from The Firm over their ties to Jeffrey Epstein. “The Yorks are an extremely close-knit family. The disgrace of Sarah Ferguson has followed that of Prince Andrew, who has become an international pariah,” royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said. “Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will find their parents’ predicament devastating.”
