I was surprised – both by the situation and openness of the article. "Switzerland is currently handling more than 140 terrorism-related cases". "Blättler warns that Switzerland could face a situation similar to Sweden within the next ten to fifteen years if no action is taken".

  1. Depending how the Gaza conflicts goes we will get a ton of ex Hamas warriors here in Europe. And don’t forget the hybrid warfare from Russia. There will be a conflict heavy future for us all.

  2. Thankfully, the Confederation Intelligence Service leadership is top notch…. wait…

  3. yeah, but terrorism related cases could also be guy writing “for bombs” whilst sending 2.50 tho his friend via twint…

  4. And yet again, no underlying issues will be adressed, on the contrary, everything that could keep these young men from becoming radicalised is being gutted.

It is as if they are useful as a political boogeyman, to push us politically further to the right and continue disenfranchising everyone who isn’t wealthy.

At the same time, young Swiss men are being radicalised online too.

Our future is pretty bleak if we continue on this course, 20 years behind the US.

  5. says it’s a social issue, asks for more resources instead of advocating for social measure.

  6. So, who will dare to bell the elephant in the room? (intentionally done, don’t go idiom nazi on me)

When there are 10 patients of lung cancer, and 9 of them are chain smokers while 1 is a marathon runner, we seem to be hell bent on blaming marathon running, or for that matter everything other than smoking, as root cause of lung cancer. We even eagerly accept the word from tobacco companies when they say smoking doesn’t cause cancer. I can’t help but wonder why. Is it the money? Or is it the subconsciously we like when others get cancer and think that we will never get it? Remember, cancer kills indiscriminately, it doesn’t check your gender, nationality, education, age etc.
    Smoking causes cancer, stop smoking.
