In the early hours of October 14, Russian occupiers used a drone to strike a taxi in the Korabelnyi district of Kherson. The information was confirmed by the Kherson Regional Military Administration in a post on its official Facebook page.

According to law enforcement authorities, a 67-year-old driver sustained blast injuries and was transported to a hospital for emergency medical care.

Later, the regional military administration clarified that the drone strike on the taxi also wounded a 72-year-old female passenger with a mine-blast injury.

Investigation and consequences

Law enforcement agencies have initiated a pre-trial investigation into a war crime. According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the investigation is conducted in accordance with the norms of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Earlier as well, around 10:00 on October 13, occupying forces struck a shop in Bilozerts, Kherson region; two women were injured.
