I was all chuffed to reveal to the Postie the item he was delivering to me this morning. He stood patiently while I excitedly removed the postage bag then placed the mat at my door……He has never watched Still Game so didn’t get the reference at all. My big pumped up reveal was wasted! Sighhhhh!

  4. To be fair I automatically read that as “Welcome” (brain autofilled I guess?) and didn’t notice the typo until I scrolled slightly and looked again. Maybe he just didn’t realise and thought you were showing him a regular old welcome mat?

  10. Love it. Bought my dad 1 years ago and his face lit up. Bought myself 1 a few weeks back as It felt wrong not to have it given how much I love still game. If you haven’t tried their whisky or gin, give it a go it’s nice.

  18. I say “you’re weclome” all the time referencing this and people are like “pfff what an idiot you can’t even speak, dumbass”…. sigh.

    Where did you get it? Custom/request made? (I bet if I ordered one they’d “correct” it for me) I had a look for one when I moved in and couldn’t find anywhere selling them (because super smart apparently AI search engines don’t let you search what you actually are looking for ever again).

  27. We have the same one, when my dad visited and said “I assume you know that’s spelled wrong and it’s some sort of joke?” He knows me well!
