8. She was being pushed to run because Platner is the shift the Dems need to actually rebuild their failed party, but he is also a MASSIVE threat to the billionaires who back the Dems. The establishment of the Democratic Party needed a candidate they actually want to endorse that could win because if Platner is the nominee, the establishment continues to lose power. And that would be a good thing.
