  1. There’s no way this peace lasts. Hamas will never disarm and will always want to eradicate Israel. This will all blow up again very soon. But I’m happy Israel got their hostages back.

  2. And to think, we were 🤏 this close to peace in the middle east.

  3. If only we could stop taking these 1000+ year old fairy tales seriously. Fuck man.

  4. This war will never cease. It’s not about land; Hamas’s goal is to eradicate Jews completely from the Earth, regardless of where they are. Most people in the West think it’s a land dispute and try to offer a “solution”, but there can be no solution while Islam is at war with Jews simply because they are Jewish. No other religion in the world endorses ethnic cleansing.

This is quote from hadith, also part of hamas charter:
“The Day of Judgment will not come until Muslims fight the Jews… the stones and trees will say: O Muslim… there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him.”

  5. And what’s the problem here. There are clear instructions. They tried dispersing the individuals by other means and when that failed they opened fire. Any other army would do the same

  6. > The IDF said the individuals had crossed the “Yellow Line” in Gaza behind which they had retreated under the first phase of the ceasefire deal with Hamas.

So all still according to the 20 point agreement?

    It’s a multi phase retreat

  7. To the youngins wondering why people were not making a bigger deal of the ceasefire, this is why: it was unlikely to last more than a few days.

  8. Anyone who believes this cease-fire will benefit Palestine civilians is delusional.

  9. The funny thing is if you are a civilian with little or even no Internet connection how would you know where the line is? Especially if everything is similarly destroyed.

  10. What could’ve been so important behind this ‘yellow line’ that it was worth risking your life by crossing it, as well as threatening to break an already flimsy ceasefire? Was this miscommunication?

  11. Sorry to be a “negative Nelly”, but this peace agreement will fail, like they always do. As long as Palestinians want to obliterate Israel, and as long as the Israeli religious far-right have any say in government, no peace deal will stand.

I’m glad Israel got the hostages back. Not thrilled that they had to release a bunch of Hamas prisoners. The peace deal with fall apart in the near future.

  12. Love how people are acting like these people just wandered past the line. As if an entire line of heavily armed men weren’t a sign to stop and turn the fuck around. You people infantilize Palestinians.

  13. A few days from now the war will start again as Bibi vows to finish the job and Trump blames democrats for it (again) and demands a peace prize.

  14. The agreement looks good for Palestine and OK for Israel. There’s nothing good in this agreement for Hamas or the countries that hold their leash. So expect people trying to disrupt the agreement by for example violating boundaries and causing people to retaliate.

  15. If there’s one thing I can predict about this situation with any degree of certainty it is that we will be doing all of this again in 5 years or so. Hamas won’t disarm even if they say they will, and Israel will take any small excuse or threat as a reason to take more territory. Once all the living hostages are accounted for there is 0 reason for Israel to stop fighting outside diplomatic pressure.

  16. Israël is the only country that can follow the ceasefire it agreed to and get criticized for it

  17. There’s no ceasefire beyond the yellow line. Do understand that.

  18. No no, the president said it’s all over now didn’t they hear him ?

  19. Damn, the IDF couldn’t even go a day without killing Palestinians.

There’s no way this peace lasts the week.
