Malta will select their act for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 this Saturday in the final of The Voice Kids Malta.
With the conclusion of the Battles round of The Voice Kids Malta this evening, PBS has confirmed that the final of the Maltese Junior Eurovision selection will take place on October 18. In the final, the six acts that progress from the Sing-Offs will compete with songs that they applied with.
Tonight saw the final Battles round with Sarah Bonnici’s team competing for their place in the Sing Off. The results were:

Ramires Sciberras represented Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Madrid with “Stilla ċkejkna”. He finished 5th in the final with 153 points. This was the first Junior Eurovision entry to be performed entirely in Maltese and Malta’s best result since 2018.

Malta debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 and has gone on to win the contest twice. In 2013, on their return to the competition in Kyiv, Gaia Cauchi won the contest with “The Start”. She was the first winner of a Eurovision event for Malta. In 2015, Destiny Chukunyere took victory in Sofia with the song “Not My Soul”. The country has hosted the contest twice, the first time in 2014 and then again in 2016.
